I grew up in the rural Highlands of Scotland, where I developed my love of open spaces and the colors of nature. Understandably there is a strong bias in my portfolio for the magnificence of Scotland's rugged landscapes.

For me it's about using all manner of methods to capture the world at its most interesting.

We all perceive the world differently and I don't really believe there's a 'right' way to see it: rather, there are 1000's of unique and interesting ways. My work tends to blur the boundaries between photography and painting to produce artistic images that sometimes defy reality.
